Classical Music Magazine reports that a study by UK Music has revealed that music tourism in 2014 contributed £3.1bn to the UK economy, with 9.5 million music tourists attending music events. There was a 39% increase in the number of overseas music tourists between 2011 and 2014, with each spending an average of £751.
